Am Freitag wurde die Feuerwehr Quickborn am späten Vormittag zum Abstreuen einer Ölspur alarmiert.
Diese war ca. 8 km lang und erstreckte sich von der Bahnstraße über die Friedrichsgaber Straße und den Harksheider Weg bis zur Kieler Straße. Die Feuerwehr Hasloh und der Bauhof Quickborn unterstützten dabei mit weiterem Ölbindemittel. Insgesamt wurden 115 Sack Ölbindemittel bei diesem Einsatz verbraucht. Da das gesamte Ölbindemittel des Bauhofs Quickborn und der Feuerwehr Quickborn bei diesem Einsatz verwendet wurde, musste noch im Verlauf des Einsatzes der GW-Logistik zu einer Fachfirma nach Halstenbek geschickt werden, um weiteres Mittel zu besorgen. Insgesamt dauerte der Einsatz fünf Stunden. Von der Quickborner Wehr waren 16 Einsatzkräfte mit vier Fahrzeugen im Einsatz.
